"Attitude and readiness of population of Ukraine towards migration processes" Research Object: migration processes in Ukrainian society Research Subject: intentions of population to departure from Ukraine Research Aim: to estimate potential and reasons of departure from the country of possible migrants. Research Methods and Empiric base: Sample - 1800 persons - represents the population of Ukraine concerning age (from 18 and older), sex, education, type of settlement and region. Sample is three-stage, stratified, random. Research results. Main reasons of departure of the Ukrainian citizens are as following 1.unemployment; 2 low level of salary; 3.high housing rates; 4.social-economic and political instability in Ukraine; 5.loss of prestige of Ukrainian higher educational among the graduate students of schools and their reorientation towards foreign universities; 6.absence of any prospect and loss of reference-points inside the country for vital strategies formation. The basic migration attitudes of population towards the choice of countries for temporal labour migration are outlined. The tendency of reduction to the amount of potential migrants to Russia and increase of those who are oriented towards Western countries is pointed out. The social and socialpsychological portrait of potential Ukrainian migrant is pictured. Attitude of population of country is found out towards the new group of internal migrants – internally displaced persons from Crimea and Donbas.
