Subbotin name popup.description2  The object of the study is the lithosphere of the Azov-Black Sea region of Ukraine and the Crimea. The purpose of the work is seismic investigations using modern seismic stations and the creation of a velocity model of the lithosphere in the Azov-Black Sea region of Ukraine and the Crimea on their basis. Research methods are the method of deep seismic sounding (DSS) and wave field modeling based on the modern technologies and computer programs. A model of a non-explosive source of seismic waves was be made for the physical modeling and study of the wave field in complicated geological conditions. The mathematical tools for managing the layout and statistical accumulation of seismic oscillations generated by the source was be developed. As a result of the performed work (collection and processing of geological and geophysical data in the Azov-Black Sea region of Ukraine and the Crimea) a geological and geophysical data base was created.
