Subject of the research regularities of influence of temperature and humidity on the drying and heating processes of grain in the drying vertical dryers. The purpose of the work is to reduce energy consumption in mine grain dryers by reducing the drying and overheating of grain by adapting the drying regime to changes in temperature and humidity of the ambient air. Research methods-theoretical and experimental, modeling and identification of technological process of drying grain, establishing monitoring systems. Defined patterns of changes in humidity and temperature of grain in the drying chamber, taking into account the ambient temperature and humidity, as well as the derived analytical dependences, which describe the kinetics of drying and heating grain. We developed a technique of adapting the management of processes of heat-mass transfer in mine to changes in moisture content of grain drying agent. The structural schemes of developed technical tools system and algorithm of simulation model of heat-mass transfer processes, justified the parameters of technical means for grain drying process monitoring system in the vertical dryer. Found that when using a monitoring system, the duration of the transitional regime in the process of adaptation to changes in moisture content of grain drying the coolant decreases on 80. 130 min. This helps stabilize the quality of the finished product and energy cost savings 1. 5% during weather conditions.
