Subject of research is scientific and methodological security of social and pedagogical support of children from families of displaced persons in educational institutions and at the place of residence. Methods: theoretical, empirical, mathematical. Results: the conceptual approach in the study is substantiated, the complex method of ascertaining experiment is developed; the assessment of the state of socio-pedagogical support of children from families of displaced persons in institutions of secondary education, at the place of residence and the assessment of the state of training of future social workers in higher education to this type of professional activity is made; the actual state and trends of activity of children of displaced persons in the life of the school, class and community at the place of residence is defined; the reduction of conflicts among peers; attitude to the Homeland and the tasks of its protection. The novelty of the study: the educational component of socio-pedagogical support of children from families of displaced persons, aimed at the formation of their responsible citizenship and Patriotic consciousness, establishing positive communication among peers and prevention of conflicts in the host community of the school and at the place of residence is defined; the concept of "socio-pedagogical support" is clarified; definition of "socio-pedagogical support of children from families of displaced persons" is proposed; the criteria for assessing the state of socio-pedagogical support of children from families of displaced persons are developed; the basic principles of socio-pedagogical support are defined.
