The conceptual basis of this research is the idea that, on the one hand, in conditions of significant anthropogenic loading, which leads to the destruction of living conditions, there is a reduction in the number and fragmentation of habitats of aboriginal species, on the other, an intensification of invasion of alien species is carried out. Changes in the conditions of existence lead to a sharp increase in the level of hybridization processes, which also negatively affects the ability of populations to adapt. In the first stage, research was conducted on young carp fish in relation to the reality of hybridization in this group.
