The purpose of the study is to establish the patterns of inhibition of the oxidation of organic compounds with free fullerene C60 and its derivatives. Research methods. Peroxide radical generation method. Method of studying the reactivity of antioxidants. Methods for estimating the stoichiometry of the breakdown of peroxyl radicals with antioxidants. Antitheft efficiency was investigated on four-chip friction machine (ASTM D2783) on liquid and plastic greases. A number of modern physico-chemical methods of investigation to confirm the regularity of the initial stages of the chain oxidation process. For the first time, inhibition of the rate of breakdown of chains of initiated oxidation of benzyl alcohol with exozohedral fullerenes by peroxyl and alkyl radicals was detected. It has been found that nanocarboxy cluster compounds allow to significantly increase the antioxidant and anti-scaling properties of hydrocarbon and ethanol fuels when they are introduced in a micro-volume (0.01-0.05% by mass) into motor fuels.
