The purpose of the project istoinvestigate representation of the challenges and threats of the modernity in the Ukrainian humanitarian sphere; Demonstrate the connection between these difficulties and the geopolitical position of the state, the cultural and civilizational orientation of the Ukrainians, and permanent transformation of the modern information and educational space in the global world. The reconstruction of social preconditions of such challenges, and the assimilation of positive experience in solving similar humanitarian problems and the development of theoretical models to overcome them will be explored. Novelty: The effectiveness of the activities of the Ukrainian institutions of the Western diaspora has been described, their positive influence on the foreign policy of Ukraine in the economics, social, cultural and political spheres has been analyzed. The assertion that the Ukrainian Diaspora is a potential factor of investment in Ukraine and a powerful image-maker of the country on the international arena was supplemented. The possibilities of using modeling methods in descriptive analysis of humanitarian challenges and threats of the present day were explored, application of philosophy as a means of conceptual distinction of phenomena which are modeled. The possibilities of the phenomenological methodology in modeling the possible consequences of socio-political actions, challenges and threats of modernitywere investigated, was shown the specificity of the application of phenomenology as a means of conceptual distinction of social and political phenomena which are need to be modeled. The socio-economic organizations of the Ukrainian diaspora in democratic countries were analyzed and the factors that contributed to their creation were identified.
