The methods of influence on the ingots crystallization at plasma-arc, electroslag remelting and induction melting in a section crystallizer are determined. Technological schemes have been developed to influence the crystallization of a metal using these processes. On their basis, the laboratory equipment was modernized and the corresponding equipment was made for experiments. Samples of metallic materials were melted and the influence of technological developments on crystallization processes in the manufacture of various metal products was investigated. The positive effect of the use of a local metal bath on the structure formation and crystallization of the metal, as well as the suppression of the development of zonal segregation in ingots, is shown.
