The system is registered in the CMS as T2_UA_KIPT, and it is one of the best CMS T2 sites, if the operation quality is concerned. An upgrade of the system mass disk storage (MDS), computing resources, network infrastructure and uplink has been accomplished. As a result, the MDS capacity and computation productivity were increased from 723 to 868 TB, and from 7.4 to 7.8 kHEPspec06, respectively. A new system internal network layout was developed and implemented with the purchased equipment. The throughput was increased more than twice for the main trunk-lines and by factor of 5 for links of the disk servers. To provide a full support of the system network infrastructure at the uplink bandwidth of 10 Gbps and more, a new gateway server was purchased, configured and linked to a new system router through 2 aggregated 10 Gbps channels. To measure the data exchange rate with other WLCG/CMS sites, an additional perfSONAR server was configured. Despite the upgrade, the T2_UA_KIPT facility by its hardware parameters is substantially (by factor of ~2.5-3.5) below a CMS “nominal” T2 center. However, a high level of system operation stability and reliability was provided. More than 1.97 PB of experimental information has been transferred to the T2_UA_KIPT for the year, what is more than one third of the total data array transferred to the site for all the time and ~2.7 times more than the system MDS capacity. To carry out calculations on the CMS data physics analysi, the WLCG/CMS Grid resources were exploited. 157 CPU-days (234 days of the wall time) of the WLCG Grid resources were utilized by Grid-jobs on our CMS data analysis.
