A problem of life-term determination for a nanocomposite plate with mode I crack is considered. An effective algorithm of the life-term determination is elaborated. This algorithm is based on the proposed by the authors of this work method of integral equation solving. The algorithm is proven to be valid on the real-world example for viscoelastic nanocomposite. It is found that mixing nanoparticles into the composite to enhance its crack resistance can considerably increase the life-term of the structural elements made of this composite.
