The urgency of the topic is determined by the fact that the tasks of forming a modern communication system in the field of spiritual heritage, the handwritten part of libraries, forming a segment of the scientific space of libraries, updating the great intellectual potential of handwritten information in the development of various fields of science and culture are being solved. The methodological basis is general scientific methods (system, structural, model, comparative, classification, logical generalization and analogy), modern theory of network society, methods of archeography, source study and book science, as well as methods related to the practical introduction of information technologies in the humanitarian sphere of knowledge.
