The purpose of the research is to work out theoretical and scientific-practical principles of the scientific description of manuscript monuments, archival documents and documents of personal origin, creation of a system of registration and reference and scientific resources of the traditional and electronic type on manuscript funds as sources of the national historical and cultural heritage of Ukraine, modern scientific circulation, to broaden communication possibilities of access of wide circles of users to multidimensional retrospective and up-to-date information stored in manuscript sources s, including the Internet. The urgency of the topic is determined by the fact that the tasks of forming a modern communication system in the field of spiritual heritage, the handwritten part of libraries, forming a segment of the scientific space of libraries, updating the great intellectual potential of handwritten information in the development of various fields of science and culture are being solved. The methodological basis is general scientific methods (system, structural, model, comparative, classification, logical generalization and analogy), modern theory of network society, methods of archeography, source study and book science, as well as methods related to the practical introduction of information technologies in the humanitarian sphere of knowledge. .
