The existence of a proportional statistical and epidemiological cause-and-effect relationship between incidence rates, mortality and lethality from vaccinated-infected infections in the long-term dynamics has been established, indicating a strong influence of vaccine prophylaxis on the epidemic process. The probable contribution of vaccine prophylaxis to reducing general and infectious mortality in Ukraine over the last 50-70 years has been identified for the first time. The modern manifestations of the epidemic process of invasive meningococcal infection in Ukraine are determined.
