The purpose of the work is to prepare a methodological manual for expert linguists with the aim of developing theoretical and methodological provisions of linguistic expertise on semantic and textual research of expressions expressed in the form of appeals for practical assistance to court experts. Theoretical and practical results - the object, object, tasks of the judicial linguistic (semantic and textual) examination are determined, the methods used in the specified type of examination are given. The theoretical and methodical aspects of the category "appeal" as a form of speech behavior in linguistic studies are considered, as well as its legal aspect is analyzed. A generalization of expert practice concerning the establishment of expressions expressed in the form of appeals has been carried out. The limits of competence of the expert in the conducted linguistic (semantic-textual) researches are determined. The algorithm of solving semantic-textual tasks in establishing the expressions expressed in the form of appeals is developed. Recommendations on the preparation of materials for conducting judicial linguistic (semantic and textual) expertise regarding the establishment of expressions expressed in the form of appeals in written speech have been developed. The peculiarities of evaluation of the specified type of examination are analyzed. Novelty - for the first time an algorithmic method of linguistic research of expressions expressed in the form of appeals, in written speech was developed.
