The purpose of the work is to increase the productivity of material processing in mass production and mechanical engineering. The subject of research - automated synthesis and processing on high-automated equipment with CNC in the manufacture of machine tools and cutting tools. Methods of research - the basis of technology of mechanical engineering, the basic provisions of the theory of cutting, the method of finite elements. The developed control programs for processing which are developed and optimized in advance for this particular machine, and the process of cutting tools designing is to create an information database for the placement of standard structural elements in accordance with the adopted form formation scheme. Achieved that the manufacture of cutting tools is possible in automatic mode on CNC machine tools for a control program that is a set of optimal technological solutions pre-designed for each constructive element and only adapted to specific production conditions. CAD-fixtures are considered as a set of functional modules of different function (base, clamping, reference), on the basis of which a plurality of variants of fixure layouts can be formed. The developed design methodology allowed to find the most advantageous design solutions for the concrete production conditions in the automated mode, on the basis of the generated database.
