The purpose of the paper is to analyze literary and patent sources on the synthesis, properties and use of SiC micro and nano fibers and the study of the influence of the nature of the substrate on the peculiarities of the synthesis of micro and nanofiers SiC and the production of their prototype samples. Research methods - study of the peculiarities of the growth of SiC nanofibers on carbon fabric and foam nickel substrates, as well as the development of a method for manufacturing nanocomposite material based on polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), studying the structure and properties of nanocomposite material. In this research, an analysis of literary and patent sources on the issues of synthesis, properties and application of nanoclay SiC for the creation of nanocomposites on a polymeric basis has been carried out. The influence of the parameters of synthesis of SiC nanofibers on carbon fiber and foam nickel substrates was investigated by the method of chemical gas-phase deposition. Also, calculations of thermodynamic quantities for the synthesis reaction of nanoclay SiC on a plywood layer have been carried out. The temperature and time dependences of the degree of filling of plates of pinnicon with SiC fibers are established. The technique of manufacturing nanocomposite material on the basis of PTFE, reinforced plates filled with SiC nanofibers, is developed. The structure and mechanical properties of samples of nanocomposite have been investigated. CVD METHOD, CATALYST, SILICON CARBIDE, NANFIBER, STRUCTURE, COMPOSITE.
