QUALITY OF WATER, ENROVIRUSES, SURFACE PLASMON RESONANCE The object of the study is the processes of research on the quality of water. The subject of the study is the process of studying the quality of water by the device on the basis of the phenomenon of surface plasmon resonance (SPR). Purpose: development of the concept and determination of the sensitivity of the SPR method to the presence of pathogenic microorganisms in water, the creation of a specialized device for express control of the quality of water. In accordance with the Specification in 2018, the following works and results were performed: 1.A concept was proposed on the possibility of using the SPR method to determine presence and quantity of pathogenic microorganisms in water. Experimental verification of this concept was carried out in cooperation with the SSCIBSM. The results proved capability of developed concept and demonstrated the high sensitivity of SPR device to pathogenic microorganisms, it provides the ability to detect pathogens in water at a concentration of 40 pg/mm3. It has been established that detection of the virus in distilled water is 1.57 times more effective than in running water These experiments have shown that the changes in the parameters of SPR in experiments occur in a narrow angle range, which does not require the use of opportunities of the stepper motor, and may be registered with a ruler or matrix of photodetectors. It was possible to create a small, energy-efficient specialized device for monitoring water 2.Designed schematic solutions, sketch design documentation for a prototype device for operational diagnostics dangerous infectious diseases and rapid analysis of quality of water.
