The aim is to practice scientific analysis expert, literature and regulations of Ukraine and foreign countries to develop criteria for the differentiation of forensic examination classes, genera, species, subspecies and improve their classification, to facilitate the development of theory and methodology of forensics. Theoretical and practical results - proposed ways to solve problems arising in the development of classification of forensic examinations; defined clear boundaries between individual species, subspecies forensic examinations and expert specialties and the basic criteria of differentiation specific classes, genera, species, subspecies forensic examination; a scientific report on improving the classification of forensic examination are relevant theoretical and practical aspects of classification expertise, its importance for forensic activities, organization of forensic expertise, training of expert personnel, providing them with specialization in forensic institutions. The novelty of this work is that for the first time during the existence of judicial-expert institutions of independent Ukraine at the level of the integrated approach, it is proposed to improve the classification of forensic examinations.
