It is problematic to simultaneously install multiple means of protection against the acoustic and electromagnetic loads. It is a relevant task to develop and implement combined electromagnetic and soundproofing (acoustic) screens. The object of the research is the development of new materials with controlled characteristics of the vaporacoustic and electromagnetic properties on the basis of composite materials. The subject of research is the protective properties of composite light multilayer structures, the optimization of structural parameters according to sound insulation criteria, the most advantageous ratios of absorption and reflection coefficients, selective absorption of narrowband (monochrome) electromagnetic radiation depending on the real state of the electromagnetic environment. The purpose of the work is to develop new composite materials with controlled electromagnetic and vibration acoustic characteristics in a wide frequency-amplitude range. The technology of manufacturing of a universal electromagnetic and noise protection screen based on foam and foam polystyrene is developed. The study of the dispersion and physical characteristics of material components for the shielding of electromagnetic field and noise has been carried out. It has been proved that combined electromagnetic and acoustic (acoustic) screens, having a small thickness and weight, can reduce the levels of electromagnetic fields and noise to regulatory, which is especially important when used in the transport industry. The obtained results are suitable for use in the transport and power industries for the protection of workers from the influence of electromagnetic fields and radiation, as well as noise. Developed screens are suitable for solving problems of electromagnetic compatibility, electrical and electronic equipment and techtechnical protection of information.
