Determination of morphofunctional indices of cryopreserved placenta-derived biological objects: quality criteria, formation of corresponding collections of low-temperature bank, study of geroprotective and gerotherapeutic effect of cryopreserved placenta-derived biological objects. Materials and methods. Cryogenic, histochemical, immunohistochemical, histological, biophysical methods, the study of behavioral reactions according to functional tests. Results. Implantation of cryopreserved placental fragments induces morphological and functional recovery of heart and liver, restoration of antioxidant enzymes activity in the studied organs, causes regression of senile-involutive changes in reproductive organs. The mechanism of positive effect is implemented through activation of the vascular component and reparative processes, metabolism improvement and due to inhibition of apoptosis of cellular elements, restoration of the ability of endothelium receptors in the regulation of hemodynamics. Injection of cryopreserved placental serum to animals with experimental atherosclerosis normalizes lipid metabolism. The use of cryopreserved fragments of fetal membranes leads to reduction in the healing time of trophic ulcers and restoration of the limb functioning, also shows anti-inflammatory and immunostimulating effect. Implantation of cryopreserved placental explants increases the lifespan of male mice, reduces the probability of death of female mice in the reproductive period, improves their zoosocial, orienting-exploratory behavior, significantly decreases anxiety, and improves the course of dyscirculatory encephalopathy in ovariectomized animals.
