The elastooptic coefficients of monoclinic TGC crystals were calculated and the acousto-optic figure of merit (AOFM) of these crystals was estimated. The highest AOFM value is 6.8 × 10-15 c3/kg, which exceeds the corresponding values for traditional AO materials, transparent in the deep ultraviolet spectrum region. The complete matrices of elastic modules and coefficients of elastic flexibility of monoclinic crystals on an example of TlInS2 crystals were determined, the intersections of surfaces of acoustic wave velocities by the main crystallographic planes are constructed, the dependences of the obliquity angle and the angle of deviation of polarization of the acoustic waves from purely longitudinal and transverse types on the direction of wave vector were found. These crystals may be promising for applications in AO devices working in the medium IR range. The development of the basic principles of anisotropy analysis of AOFM for low-symmetry crystals was continued on the example of rhombic Tl3AsS4crystals. AOFM of these crystals exhibit significant anisotropy, which is related to the anisotropy of elastooptical coefficients. The absolute highest value, 2186 × 10-15 c3 / kg, corresponds to AO interaction with purely longitudinal acoustic waves propagating along the crystallographic axis b in the crystallographic planes ab and bc. The possibility of controlling the spatial position of the optical beams transmitting optical vortices by the change of the frequency of the acoustic wave excited in the AO cell, was shown, while the phase structure and spatial profile of the optical vortex are maintained. The fact of the formation of OV with fractional charges in the process of AO Breg's diffraction was experimentally revealed. The possibility of creating OV network in AO diffracted light beam can be used to capture microparticles Product Description popup.authors Vlokh Rostyslav O. Dudok Taras G. Krupych Oleg M.
