It has been shown that on the nanophase catalysts Pt / Al2O3 in the hydrogenation reaction of ethylene, when the size of the active phase increases, the process speed decreases. The obtained data testify to the structural sensitivity of the hydrogenation reaction of ethylene. A series of platinum-based catalysts deposited on ?-Al2O3 and which differ in size of the active phase was also investigated in the hydrogenation reaction of CO. The influence of the size of the active phase on the catalytic properties of synthesized catalysts was revealed. It was found that the hydrogenation rate of CO increases with the increase in the size of platinum nanoparticles deposited in the range of 2.7 - 8.4 nm. This dependence may be due to a decrease in the heat of adsorption of CO with an increase in the size of platinum nanoparticles. It was found that catalysts obtained by depositing platinum nanoparticles on carbon nanotubes exhibit higher catalytic activity in the water displacement reaction compared to platinum-based catalysts applied to activated carbon. 100% conversion to Pt / BNT catalysts is achieved at a temperature of 400-450 ° C.
