The purpose of research is to determine the perspective directions of the combination of chemical, physical and biological methods for the development of effective processes for water purification and control of its quality. Methods - spectrophotometric, atomic-adsorption, mass-spectrometric with inductively-coupled plasma (ICP-MS), chemical analyzes; light microscopy, biotesting, methods for counting colonies of microorganisms. Main results: The higher efficiency of the heterogeneous and homogeneous photocatalytic systems ((Fe3 +) ZSM-5/H2O2/UV, Fe3 +/ H2O2/UV) for the mineralization of anionic surfactants in the aqueous medium is established compared with the catalytic oxidation in the dark. According to the results of biotesting on Daphnia magna and calculating the energy output of Me, it has been found that it is more environmentally acceptable and economically feasible to detect VUF-irradiation of the anionic surfactants solution rather than treatment with a positive corona discharges. It has been shown that the presence of bicarbonates or Ca2 + ions in water decreases the arsenic delay factor in the process of nanofiltration (NF) with a two-stage (VUF/NF or TiO2-VUF/NF) processing of a solution containing As (III). The process of desalting and boundary concentration of solutions of sodium chloride with the use of an electrodializer-concentrator, developed by ICCWC NAS of Ukraine was studied. The technology of obtaining quality drinking water with the help of automatic filtering complexes is developed and implemented. It has been established that the effect of disinfection of water by chitosan from microscopic fungi depends on its composition and the method of preliminary processing. The field of application - water treatment. Product Description popup.authors Bilyk Yurii S. Balakina Marharyta M. Baranov Oleksandr I. Bychkov Olekksii V. Bolgova Olena S. Vakulenko Vira F.
