The photoanodes of photoelectrochemical solar cells on the basis of nanostructured titanium dioxide sensitized to the visible light by monodisperse quantum dots of copper doped clusters of non-stoichiometric silver-indium sulfide (CAIS) and CAIS@ZnS structures obtained by size-selective precipitation from aqueous colloidal solutions are obtained. It is shown that сopper doping leads to increase the photoelectrochemical activity of QD AIS/ZnS, and the increase in photoactivity (photocurrent density) caused by doping increases from 24% for the largest QD to 60% for the smallest QD CAIS/ZnS, correlating with the quantum yield of the PL of the initial colloidal QD CAIS/ZnS.
