Purpose – development of software that implements a mathematical model of deformation of layered composite shells with structural defects. Research methods – finite element method, the methods of computational mathematics, modern software development technologies. On the basis of the developed mathematical model of deformation of the wound composite sheaths made by the method of winding for the discrete consideration of the structure in thickness, software was created in relation to solving problems of determination of durability and residual durability in the presence or occurrence of damage on the interface surfaces in solid propellant shells of the type "cocoon". To this end, the proposed and verified new mixed scheme of the finite element method in the generalized displacements of the points of the median surfaces of the components and of the contact interlayer stresses was adapted. The software includes a block of input of the database of source materials, geometric parameters, load and their interactive verification. The following module carries out the construction of a geometric and finite element model of the body and calculates its stress-strain state. After this, visualization with an interactive analysis of the evaluation of the performance of the hull is occurs. The proposed techniques and algorithms are realized in the form of program complex, which was transferred for testing and use in experimental-design practice of the Yuzhnoye State Design Office.
