The obtained results showed that in the process of cutting the tool into the workpiece, the spindle begins to oscillate under the action of gyroscopic moments and reaction forces. The oscillation amplitude of the spindle is reduced by the exponential curve, and the damping coefficient of the amplitude of the oscillations increases with the increase of the spindle hardness and the stabilizing action of the gyroscopic moments.
