Karazin Kharkiv National University popup.description2 The object of research is low-dimensional magnets based on ionic radical compounds of transition metals. Purpose - Synthesis of new ion-radical salts with electrical and magnetic characteristics sensitive to changes in the environment. Methods of research - electrosynthesis, X-ray diffraction analysis, resistive measurements, Raman and ESP spectroscopy, spin formalism of the valence bond method, analytical methods of quantum solid state theory. New ion-radical derivatives based on tetratiofuvalen have been synthesized and their structure and physical and chemical characteristics have been studied. Five new mixed-ligand complexes Cu (II) and Co (II) were obtained on the basis of pseudohalide ligands (dicanamide, nitrozodicyanmethane and azide anions) and N-donor ligands (2- (2-pyridyl) benzimidazole, 4-amino-3 , 5-bis (pyridin-2-yl) -1,2,4-triazole and 2,2'-bichinolin). Investigation of the crystalline structure of coordination compounds showed that the structures are stabilized by π-π interactions and hydrogen bonds, both internally and intermolecular. For a frustrated chain magnet formed by triangular graphite clusters, it is shown that the growth of the magnitude of frustrated interactions leads to a jump-like decrease of the ground state spin of a magnet on a macroscopic value. The response of a quantum spin chains to an alternating magnetic field is calculated theoretically. It is shown that for a closed system, the magnetic characteristics and characteristics of the confusion (important for quantum computers) are oscillated with the frequency of the external alternating field and the frequency of the Rabi type. A method is proposed that systematically construct magnetics with given properties of the lower part of the energy spectrum in the approximation of linear spin waves.
