There has been improved the system of early diagnosis and pathogenetically grounded approach to the choice of surgical methods in case of slow consolidation and false joints of the tibia and also the surgical treatment capacity has been estimated regarding this problem. There has been determined the influence of the pathogenetic and complex surgical treatment on the outcomes obtained and the terms when first signs of tibial fracture healing can appear. The properties of osteoinductive and osteoconductive materials have been studied and recommendations on the differentiated approach of their use in practical traumatology in case of impaired healing of tibial fractures have been given. The algorithm for diagnostics and treatment of patients with talus fractures has been developed. The causes of complications and unsatisfactory treatment outcomes have been systematized.
