A physical model was developed, the detailed mathematical description of the transformation CaCO3 into CaO was performed, and mathematical modeling of the calcination process and decarbonization of finely dispersed calcite in a device with a FB inert material was performed. The influence of heat treatment parameters and characteristics of raw material on the process efficiency and the characteristics of the final product have been investigated. The technology of obtaining highly reactive lime and the design of a furnace with FB has been developed. This technology are allows for the calcination of ultra fine dispersed lime and can compete with existing industrial technologies due to the high energy efficiency of the process.
