The purpose of the research work is to develop new and im-prove existing methods of acoustic control of the properties of textile materials (knitwear), as well as to automate the process of such control. Research methods – differential and integral calculus; spectral analysis; mathematical statistics; theory of measurement results processing; theory of interaction of acoustic fields with textile materials (knitwear). List of equipment for research – electro-acoustic transducers MA40S4S/MA40S4R; operational amplifiers AD620, AD820 і OPA454; generator SDG1005; oscilloscope SDS1072CML+; microcontroller Atmel ATmega2560. The results of the study and their novelty – the theory and equipment for acoustic control of the properties of textile mate-rials (knitwear) were developed, based on the measurement of temporal relationships between acoustic signals, which take into account the change in the porosity of textile materials (knit-wear). Main technical characteristics of the developed equipment – measurement range of bulk density of textile materials (knit-wear) from to ; relative error of measurement of bulk density of textile materials (knitwear) – . Information on the introduction of the developed equipment – the introduction of the developed equipment at the department of computer-integrated technologies and measuring equipment of the Kiev National University of Technology and Design is being prepared.
