Usikov Institute for Radiophysics and Electronics NAS of Ukraine popup.description2  In the course of implementation of stage 1 (deadline of September 03 - December 28, 2018), the scientific project "Intelligent Sensors of the Water Supply Systems of the Future on the basis of the latest technologies" of the target program of scientific research of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine "Intelligent" sensory devices of a new generation based on modern materials and technologies "was made. the following: - the concept of streamlining of water supply on the basis of smart grid has been developed and the necessity of modernization of water supply systems for the future of sustainable development of society is substantiated; - it is proposed to use mathematics of fuzzy sets for management of water supply systems, the economic advantages of using the proposed model are calculated; -the general and mathematical models of water supply systems are developed on the basis of smart grid; As part of the work, the analysis and processing of possible options for the creation of intelligent water quality sensors was carried out. Two types of sensors (optical and microwave wavelengths) are considered as the most suitable for monitoring water quality. In order to confirm the choice of sensor types with their use, laboratory studies of water of various degree of contamination have been carried out, which showed good results in detecting micro-admixture dissolved in water. As a result of laboratory experiments, the development of design of experimental samples of water quality sensors for use in field conditions and wireless sensor systems with a control computer was started.
