A possibility of power control in the perspective fast nuclear reactor (FR) operating in a nonlinear self-supported mode of the wave of nuclear burning (NBW) was investigated. It was shown, that changing the efficiency (thickness) of the radial neutron reflector it is possible to control the power of FR with NBW in a rather broad range (several times), down to the reactor shutdown, without any interference in the reactor core. The velocity of NBW propagation is changing proportionally to the reactor power. 2. A radiation-induced void swelling in quasicrystal is investigated. It was shown, that phasons (localized topological defects of vacancy or interstitial kind) essentially reduce the dislocation preference to interstitial atoms. Therefore, quasicrystal materials should have increased resistance to void swelling. 3. The kinetics of competitive growth and dissolution of nanoparticles of Ti and Y oxides in ODS steels is qualitatively described. It was shown that depending on initial concentration of the common component (oxygen) during the growth of two precipitate systems can be realized or (і) a competitiveness of phases, or (іі) practically independent growth of both systems.
