The purpose of the work is to develop recommendations for the adjustment of the project and agree on the “Project of automatic control of methane content of Public Joint-stock Company "DTEK OKTYABRSKAYA TSZF". Research methods - generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematical statistics, calculations using standard methods. As a result of the work, the characteristics of the processing plant and the “Project for the automatic control of methane content of Public Joint-stock Company "DTEK OKTYABRSKAYA TSZF" were analyzed. “Comments on the project for the automatic control of methane content of PJSC DTEK Oktyabrskaya TsOF” were developed. The revised project on the elaborated remarks of the “Project of automatic control of methane content of Public Joint-stock Company "DTEK OKTYABRSKAYA TSZF" corrected. As a result of the application of the developed recommendations, gas safety is ensured when working at a coal preparation plant, which is of great socio-economic and environmental importance.
