The calculation of the expected methane emission and air flow for ventilation of the excavation sites 172 and 175 of the C6 layer of the "Stepova" mine is performed, as well as the calculation of the parameters and mode of degassing of the roof by boreholes, calculation of the required gas pipeline diameters and the operation mode of the vacuum pump. A project was developed for the degassing of the excavation site 172 of the C6 mine of the "Stepova" mine and the Degassing project for the excavation site 175 of the C6 mine "Stepova".
