The purpose of the work is to develop recommendations for the safe conduct of mining operations and to develop a project for degassing in the conditions of the mine "Yubileynaya" PSS "PershotravenskeMineGroup" "DTEK Pavlogradugol". Research methods - generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematical statistics, calculations using standard methods. As a result of the work, the technical documentation on the dead-end workings and mining sites at the mine "Yubileynaya" was analyzed. The calculation of the expected methane emission and air consumption for ventilation of the clearing generation and the excavation site, the calculation of the required diameters of the pipeline and the operating mode of the vacuum pump. The “Project of degassing of the excavation section 602 of the lava of the C6 stratum of the mine "Yubileynaya" PSS "PershotravenskeMineGroup" Private Joint-stock Company "DTEK Pavlogradugol" was developed. “Recommendations to ensure dust and gas safety of works on ventilation of dead-end workings of eastern drainage drift No2 and redeemable section 602 of the side drift of the horizon of 370 m were developed when installing their local ventilation fans in the workings with outgoing air stream of the mine "Yubileynaya" PSS "PershotravenskeMineGroup". The placement of local ventilation fans of dead-end workings of eastern drainage drift No.2 and redeemable section 602 of the side drift of the horizon of 370 m in the workings with outgoing air stream was agreed, subject to the implementation of the developed recommendations for dust and gas safety. The results of the implementation of the development - the application of the developed recommendations allowed to ensure gas safety in the conduct of mining operations, which is of great socio-economic and environmental importance.
