Taking into account the branded assortment of steels that are planned to be vacuum treated, as well as the volumes to be produced, the recommended methods for steel processing in a steel ladle bucket at PJSC "DMK" are recommended with the use of a vacuum degasser of chamber and circulation type with increased functionality and the ability to mix under account of squeezing a portion of metal from the vacuum chamber to the bucket. Formed initial data on the content of chemical elements, gases, non-metallic inclusions, and the main requirements of the NTD for axial and promising high-carbon steel grades (St70 and St80), which are planned to be obtained with vacuum degassing, are outlined. The justification of the recommended methods of vacuum degassing of steel and equipment for their implementation was carried out taking into account the conditions of the oxygen-converter shop of PJSC "DMK", the features of the used technological route "oxygen converter → UPK → Vacuumizers VD / RH → MBRZ" and operating technological and lifting-transport equipment. Comparison of the approximate capital expenditures of different methods of vacuum degassing of steel in steel-bulk bucket (VD, RH, DH), as well as analysis of advantages and disadvantages of each method, proved the expediency of using the recommended methods and equipment.
