The purpose of the work is to develop recommendations for safe mining when releasing outgoing air and diverting methane-air mixture for uncontrolled development under the conditions of the Stepnaya mine, to develop a degassing project and recommendations for releasing the outgoing air stream in the conditions of the Yubileinaya mine, PSS "PershotravenskeMineGroup" Private Joint-stock Company «DTEK Pavlogradugol». As a result of the work, the technical documentation on the ventilation of excavation sites and dead-end workings at the Yubileinaya and Stepnaya mines was analyzed. The calculation of the expected methane emission within the excavation section, the calculation of air consumption for ventilation of the clearing generation and the excavation section 604 of the lava of the C6 formation, the calculation of the required diameters of the gas pipeline and the operation mode of the vacuum pumps at the Yubileinaya mine. The “Project of degassing of the excavation section 604 of the lava of the C6 stratum of the “Yubileinaya” mine PSS "PershotravenskeMineGroup" Private Joint-stock Company «DTEK Pavlogradugol» was developed. Recommendations for safe mining operations with the release of the outgoing air stream and removal of the methane-air mixture for uncontrolled development under the conditions of the Stepnaya mine and recommendations for the release of the outgoing air stream under the conditions of the Yubileinaya mine of the PSS "PershotravenskeMineGroup" Private Joint-stock Company «DTEK Pavlogradugol»were developed. The results of the implementation of the development - the application of the developed recommendations helped to ensure gas safety in mining, which is of great socio-economic and environmental importance.
