The purpose of the study is to analyze regulations on the quality characteristics of road signs and methods of their control, to analyze the measuring equipment for the determining the photometric and colorimetric characteristics , to study the materials used for the manufacture of road signs - retro-reflective films of various manufacturers; to investigate the quality characteristics of road signs arranged on the highways of the state importance of the Kiev region; to analyze the dynamics of changes in these characteristics during the operation of road signs. Methods of the research are theoretical and experimental.
