The purpose of research work is to study the experience and perspectives of the functioning of condominiums in the context of reforming housing and communal services; theoretical and practical justification of the peculiarities of finance, accounting and taxation of activity of condominiums; the selection of key components of foreign practice of management of a multi-apartment house, possible for application in Ukraine. To achieve the goal, the following tasks are set: to study the main directions of the state housing policy in the context of the development of professional housing stock management; to consider the legal regulation of the issues of management of a multi-apartment house in foreign countries; characterize the organizational principles of the operation of ACMHs abroad; study methods of accounting and reporting ACMB; to distinguish the features of taxation of activity of condominiums; characterize the current problems of managing common property through ACMHs; to define the prospects of adaptation of the world experience of creation and functioning of condominiums to the conditions of Ukraine. The object of the study is the legal, organizational, financial, accounting and tax aspects of the operation of condominiums in Ukraine and the corporate analysis of the functioning of ACMHs in the EU and the US. The subject of research has been defined in three areas: 1) methodology and practice of accounting of condominiums; 2) analytical tools for the planning and development of condominiums; 3) the possibility of implementing foreign experience of ACMHs in domestic practice.
