The purpose of the work is to develop recommendations for improving the efficiency of dust suppression systems and ensuring frictional intrinsic safety at working bodies of excavation and tunneling machines in the mining and geological conditions of Public Joint-stock Company "РokrovskoeMineGroup". Research methods - generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematical statistics, calculations using standard methods. As a result of the work, the change in the methane abundance of excavation areas of Public Joint-stock Company "РokrovskoeMineGroup" with an increase in the intensity of coal output was analyzed. The evaluation of the ventilation patterns of excavation sites used at the mine according to the degree of danger of the formation of an explosive methane-air medium in the clearing mine has been carried out. An assessment of the hazard level of the clearing workings on the ignition of methane from friction sparking during the operation of the excavation combine was carried out. Developed "Recommendations for improving the efficiency of dust suppression systems and ensuring frictional intrinsic safety on the working bodies of excavation and tunneling machines in the mining and geological conditions of Public Joint-stock Company "РokrovskoeMineGroup". As a result of the application of the developed recommendations, the safety of mining operations has been ensured, which is of great socio-economic and environmental importance.
