The purpose of the work is to develop a method for determining the time of protective action of absorber filter from hazardous chemicals. Research methods - analytical (analysis of sources of information), experimental (carrying out experimental research on the definition of protective action), the method of scanning electron microscopy, the method of BET. Equipment: Sorptometer Kelvin - 1042, microscope JSM 6060 LA. Novelty of the work: experimental data on the properties of the sorbent, which determine the protective effect of the absorber filter, are created, and a laboratory installation for its determination is obtained. The quintessence of the phenomenon of adsorption, the processes occurring in the charge system - dangerous chemical and the protective action of the absorber filter is formed. A method for determining the protective action time of the absorber filter was developed, a laboratory installation was created. The methodical recommendations for defining the protective action time of the absorber filters used for individual and collective protection have been developed. The method of determining the protective action of absorbing filters from hazardous chemicals has been developed into the activity of the Ukrainian Civil Protection Research Institute.
