Research methods - generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematical statistics, calculations using standard methods. As a result of the work, technical documentation was analyzed on the open-pit workings, the sequence of opening openings in bridges No. 1-4 and security measures when opening the workings of the West wing of the Dniprovs'ka mine of the PSS "DniprovskoeMineGroup" of Private Joint-stock Company "DTEK PAVLOGRADUGОL". The analysis of observations of the mine atmosphere in the isolated space of the emergency site at the Dneprovskaya mine was carried out. “Recommendations for further work related to extinguishing a fire at the Dniprovs'ka mine of the PSS "DniprovskoeMineGroup" of Private Joint-stock Company "DTEK PAVLOGRADUGОL" were developed. The results of the implementation of the development - the application of the developed recommendations helped to ensure gas safety in mining, which is of great socio-economic and environmental importance.
