The subject of research is stems of straw technical hemp. The purpose of the work is to analyze the world's innovative technologies for the processing and harvesting of stems of technical hemp and to determine the most cost-effective for their implementation at Ukrainian enterprises. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is that for the first time the regularities of changing the physico-mechanical characteristics of the lobe isolated from straw stalks of various varieties of hemp after green harvesting and harvesting after full ripeness are established. As a result of the research, the optimum method of primary processing of straw stems of technical hemp was determined on known decorticating machines after green harvesting and harvesting after full ripeness of the seeds.
