Means of preventing the main cause of reducing the impact strength of welded joints (oxide inclusions), in particular, HF welding with protection of the fusion zone by argon was successfully tested. Corrosion characteristics of welded joints of HFW-pipes are close to the base metal. Complex works allowed to use the domestic HFW-pipes for responsible pipelines and provide the market with competitive short-circuits pipes of medium diameter.
