ETHNO-CULTURAL HERITAGE, MATERIAL CULTURE, SPIRITUAL CULTURE, CHORNOBYL DISASTER, EASTERN POLISSIA, CHERNIHIVSKA REGION The object of the Research – artifacts and phenomena of traditional folk culture of the villages of Ripkynskyi district, Chernihivska region. The research objective – based on the complex research of traditional material and spiritual culture of the villages of Ripkynskyi district, Chernihivska region, - to determine its local specificity and to identify the archaic elements, as well as to find out the present state of existence of ethno cultural traditions. Methods of the research – field collection of ethnographic, folk, art history and linguistic information, for instance, surveys, observations, interviews, audio-, photo-, video fixation, processing of the collected materials, in particular synchronous, typological, complex and comparative historical analysis. In 2017, the complex research of material and spiritual culture of the villages of Chernihivska region was carried out. During the expedition to Ripkynskyi and Horodnianskyi districts of Chernihivska region, 31 settlements were explored thoroughly and 11 settlements were surveyed thematically. For the purpose of photo and video fixation of the full cycle of traditional pottery production, a special trip was carried out to the village of Oleshnia, Ripkynskyi district. During 2017-2018, 350 hours of audio recordings with historical and ethnographic information have been transcribed, 11582 photos were certificated, 50 hours of video materials were transcribed (register of scenes). According to the results of the research, the scientific report has been prepared (20 analytical reviews on thematic directions of the research). The results obtained will be used in the process of formation of the research and information fund of ethno-cultural heritage of the affected villages of Ukrainian Polissia.
