Description

Taking into account characteristics the operating conditions of the locomotive TGM-4 is made clarifying the layout of the power plant in the diesel compartment of a locomotive. The installation location of the two-machine unit was changed to ensure power take-off for its drive from the toe of the diesel crankshaft. The place of installation of the rotary plate type air compressor with the organization of its drive from the power take-off shaft of the torque converter has been changed. The calculation of size chain the power plant units is made and its refined structural scheme is developed.
