For a special set of events, when the invariant mass of one of the formed е+е- pairs remains fixed and the other is scanned, we obtained restrictions on the parameter ε, which describes the intensity of the interaction of the dark photon with charged Standard Model particles in terms of electric charge e, depending on the mass of the dark photon and the statistics (number) of events. The process of е+е- annihilation in the three-meson finite state ππη has been considered within the framework of the resonance chiral Lagrangian. Comparative analysis of two- and three-pion distributions for the decay τ → 3πντ produced by the updated TAUOLA generator with the experimental data obtained in the BaBar experiment showed that the proposed model reproduces the experimental spectra qualitatively.
