There were no herbicide resistant ones. • Eight transgenic C. sativa lines (Т1 generation) were selected after transformation using RNAiCsААЕ15/16 construct. They were resistant to BASTA treatment and possessed sense-antisense-Pdk-intron-ААЕ15-ААЕ16 sequence as PCR confirmed. Ukrainian FEORZhYaFD line was used as an initial material for transformation. Т1 seed germination, further growth and blooming took place under greenhouse conditions. • Seeds were gathered from transgenic camelina lines which were resistant to BASTA and had foreign chimeric gene. Thus, Т2 generation was obtained. • Increase in capric С10:0 fatty acid content was revealed in oil of Т2 transgenic camelina seeds up to 5% as compared to the controls.
