 The object of research is the social relations that arise in the sphere of regulation of analytical work in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Theoretical and methodological basis of the research is the system of philosophical, scientific and special methods, providing the objective and reliable results, including: analysis, synthesis and generalization; systematic approach, documentary, logical, comparative and content analysis; semantic; descent; systematic and structural, structural and functional, structural and logical and systematic-functional; hypothetico-deductive, theoretical and prognostic; statistical, comparative law and comparative; special law. The results of the research work - analytical review and proposals for improvement of organizational and legal regulation of analytical work in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine may be the basis for further improvement of the mechanism of legal regulation of legal and organizational support for the organization of analytical work in the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Also obtained practical results have significant scientific, theoretical and practical ponderability.
