The purpose of the work is geoinformation modeling of the bottom relief of the Siverskyi Donets River (in the area of Gaidary village, Zmiiv district, Kharkiv region), which was done based on survey by a complex of hydrological and geomorphological indicators using professional equipment. Research methods: comparative analysis, cartographic and geoinformation methods, modeling. Methodological bases for application of GIS-tools for modeling of the bottom relief of the river based on field research are substantiated. Data from the field surveys of the Siverskyi Donets River near the village of Gaidary for 2017-2019 have been systematized and supplemented with new results of field studies using the Lowrance Elite 7 Ti echo sounder. The results of surveying of the bottom relief of Siverskyi Donets River in the area of Gaidary village (Zmiiv district of Kharkiv region) were processed using geoinformation software tools, which resulted in the development of actual geographic information cartographic models of the bottom relief of the studied area with corresponding explanatory notes. The obtained results can be used to track changes in the channel of the Siverskyi Donets River, to organize periodic monitoring of the river bed, using the section of the channel in the area of Gaidary village of Zmiiv district, which can be identified as a model for this type of research. The presented research has high scientific potential and practical demand for further development and expansion, for conducting seasonal studies of the state of Siverskyi Donets River, both in the study area and in other parts of the river basin.
